When bringing the family dog on holiday, there are a few things that it would be a good idea to bring:

Dog passport with vaccination certificate

Name tag with your holiday address and mobile phone number

Collar and leash in order for you to be able to take the dog on nice walks

Towel for the dog in order for you to be able to dry it off after the walk

Small water bowl and water bottle – the dog may become thirsty on trips

A blanket that the dog can sleep on and that it feels comfortable with

Dog food. The most common brands are available in most places, but you should at least bring a little from home for the first days

Medicine chest for the dog (tablets for stomach trouble, travel sickness etc.) – you may want to discuss this with the vet

Dog toys, bones and treats as needed
